Whom we are in Christ
this is applicable to you reading this post right now we are Gods handwork. (john 1:13, kjv) “Which are born not of blood, nor the will of the flesh nor of the will of Man, but of God”. We are Gods hand work though we have have physical parents, they do not know, and why it is you they had to give birth to, But God who for-new us knows why,The bible says Children are gift from God. when you believe in Jesus Christ, you will know why you have to come to this earth (i.e you discover your destiny). then will you live a life of purpose, and be happy, peaceful, and prosperous without strife.
Looking at the mission of Jesus Christ, the savior of the world as prophesied by the prophets in John 3:14,”And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. (and we beheld his glory, the glory of the begotten son of the father) full of grace (i.e exceeding mercy) and truth”.
Here Jesus Christ is the word, Idea, desire, Lifestyle, thought and mind of God. Jesus Christ becoming flesh means the whole totality of God becoming a human being here on earth.in (john 10:30) Jesus said i and my father are one. and in john 10:38 Jesus said the father is in me and I in him. meaning as he is flesh and blood, God is in him, but he is in the father as the word.
We are Sons of God
Since Jesus Christ is the son of God, if we believe in him, you became a son of God even so as Jesus Christ is the born of God.and when you are born of God you become a God.(john 10:34) remember john 1:12.
We come from Heaven(john 6:38-40)
Even as Jesus Christ came from God, so we came from God to fulfill Gods purpose here on earth, not to die for the world, (for Jesus Christ has died for for all on the cross John 3:16-22) once you become born again, the holy spirit of God bears witness in your heart that you are a Son of God. meaning you are made by him.
We are called by him
God has sent us in abundance of his peace and mercy even as the father has sent him, before now. He has given us the holy ghost. He has given us the Authority and power to do these:
-whosoever sins you remit, they are remitted unto them, and whosoever sin you retain, are retained.
-We are to transfer this truth or the gospel to our environment, neighbors and to the world.(john 21:15)
in (Acts 1:38) the first work peter did was to ask the people to repent and be baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remition of their sin, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy ghost(Acts 1:39). Luke 3:23-38 is a trace of your generation to Jesus Christ, “for you have Abraham blessings.
